Youth power in Nation Building

Dreams of splendor in the eyes, the speed of storms in the mind. ”Like this, the rising tide in the heart, the urge to change, the indomitable courage, the desire to take a clear resolution is youth. No movement of the world, no ideology of the world can become strong without youth power. In fact, it is the youth power on which the foundation of any construction or destruction is laid. India is the country with the most youth in the world. By 2020, the average age of India will be 29 years. While the average age of China will be 37, America's 65 and Europe and Japan's average age is 6 years. According to the statistics of the population, 40 crore in India are youth between 13 and 35 years of age. It is clear from these figures that India has the largest number of working people. For the overall inclusive development of a large India, a large population of working people will be required. Therefore, India can be called a young nation. The question is how a nation invests its young capital. Does he consider the large young population as a burden on the nation and represents it as a weakness of the nation or provides the means to properly utilize it in building a strong, prosperous, powerful and self-reliant India. If, on the one hand, the youth power of the country is playing its role in waving the glory of Mother India in the country and abroad. On the other hand, in many disruptive and illogical activities, the participation of educated youth is also increasing faster than uneducated youth.
Recently, a historic movement took place in Delhi under the leadership of Shri Anna Hazare. The youth power of the country did the work to provide an edge to the movement of old Anna Hazare. This youth power was not a crowd brought in by paying any money or being seduced. She was a self-motivated and self-motivated youth power. Which was fed badly with dictatorial rule and corruption. Under the guidance of Anna Hazare, who shook the cries of the cruel, wicked tyrannical terrorist. It was clear from the crowd that a call from Anna could awaken the youth of the crowd to Subhash Chandra Bosh, Bhagat Singh, Chandra Shekhar Azad, Shivaji and Rani Laxmi Bai. But the great nationalist Anna gave the direction of non-violence to the crowd and by following Gandhi's principles, he started a larger movement than Gandhi himself.
Recently, the movements of Arab countries such as Egypt, Libya and Tunisia show the strength of youth power but there was violent revolution also which shows the direction.
Youth is like a nuclear power, which when used positively, conveys favorable energy. And when used adversely, it becomes like a nuclear bomb.

Famous thinker Shiv Kheda says that if the youth works more than the price, then no power in the world can stop him from being successful. Today, if any organization or any person in the world has succeeded, then on thebasis of this principle. If someone vows that I will return more than what I have received from the world, I will return more than I have received from the country or family, then he can achieve every goal of the world.
According to the opinion of various economists and philosophers, today India is becoming a super power economically and strategically. Recently, in the Global Gubernance Report 2025 of the International Council of European Institute for Security Studies, India has been declared the most powerful country after the US and China. Today, the youth of India are proving to be the backbone for economic development and national economy by performing well at the world level. Not like this it is that India has borrowed its global power from someone. In the past too, India has been decorated with the title of Vishwa Guru. But due to the invasion of foreign invaders by the nature of India, as the slavery was accepted, the country had to struggle for hundreds of years for its development-oriented freedom.
Today any competition of the world, be it world geographic competition, world maths competition, IT sector, service, sports, India's youth is showing its influence in almost every field. American President Barack Obama also admits the power of Indian youth power, only then he advises American youth who indulge in indulgence from time to time to learn from India.
The second aspect of the coin is also that the youth of India are also involved in crime, misconduct or other heinous acts. Kusangati is the reason for indulging in crime, lack of values and rituals during childhood. A far-reaching solution to all can be done from childhood by providing education and values. Since today's education system is not worth the price. He lacks values. Swami Vivekananda had said that the person who learns during childhood has some effect in his mind throughout his life. Reflected in his conduct.
Let's take the example of Islamic terrorists. According to the news received, he initially recruited the youth of 20-25 years of age and imparted the training of terror to them, but in the end he realized that in this way we can produce fighters but by not giving terrorism an ideological form. Can. As a result, he started teaching children in India and started teaching bigotry, terror, religious frenzy. Suicide attacks are the result of ideology. Due to which if 10 terrorists die, then 20 new ones are born.
There should be no place for such ideological ventures in the year of India. Because in the origin of India, there has always been a place of rites, values, tolerance, and if any part of the body gets hurt, then the entire body is affected or it can be said that if the head is itchy, the hand will spontaneously head. Arrives at Similarly, India is not only a landmass, but it has an eternal soul settlement. If any one section or a plot of India is affected, then the youth will not have to sit quietly because it will affect the body of the entire India and will hurt its soul.

Today, due to lack of political short-sightedness and social and national commitment, the image of India has been disturbed by the image of India. In view of crime, scams, corruption, every youth is forced to think whether it is the same grand house India, which we have heard many times about its superiority. Given the lack of political foresight, the youth will have to lead and ensure that Aksai is ours in China, Kashmir, Sikkim, Arunachal and Tawang. No segment of India land will be acceptable now. Only the youth will have to ensure that Naxalism, casteism, regionalism, and opinion in India Cult discrimination will not be acceptable. The youth will have to ensure that a dictatorial government cannot misuse it by the CBI, RA, the judiciary, the Election Commission and other institutions to work impartially. It is the youth who must ensure that our model of development is based on Europe or American system or which till now has encouraged corruption, unemployment, segregation, maladministration, inhuman acts. And there has been a steady increase in the number of poor. And it has deepened the gap between rich and poor. And 5 crore people have to be displaced due to industrialization from their place of origin. Or be based on the traditional Indian system in which no one is hungry or poor. Today, in the name of reforms in education, governments have reduced the sense of competition among children. Today, the farmer whose farmer is forced to commit suicide. If the farmer will not be safe then how can the food security claim be made. So can that country continue to develop its Western model without food security for more days.

Therefore, there is a call from the youth power of India to prove itself in every sphere of life by adopting the principles of Swami Vivekananda's "Excellent Awakening Attainable Varanibodhat".
Human civilization has evolved over the centuries. Every generation has its own thoughts and ideas which contribute towards the development of society. However, on the one hand, the human mind and intellect have developed greatly with the passage of time, the same people have become quite impatient. Today's youth are talented and capable but it can also be called impulsive and unrestrained. Today's youth are eager to learn and explore new things. Now that they can seek advice from their elders, they do not want to be guided by them at every step.

The younger generation today is in a hurry to accomplish various things and in the end gets so much towards achieving the result that they do not even pay attention to what they chose for it. Although much progress has been made in science, technology, mathematics, architecture, engineering and other fields, we cannot deny the fact that the rate of crime has also increased considerably over time. Today, more violence is taking place in the world than ever before and youth are responsible for a major part of this violence.

Factors that promote crime among youth

There are many factors that provoke the younger generation to commit crimes. Here's a look at some of these:

lack of education
Unemployment
power play
Resentment flourishing towards life
increased competition
About 65% of the Indian population is young. There are many talented and hard working youth in our country who have made the country feel proud. The younger generations in India are excited and eager to learn new things. Be it the field of science, technology or sports - the youth of our country excel in every field.

Why empower the youth?

Here are some reasons why the youth of the country need to be empowered:

To assist them in acquiring knowledge and skills for their personal and professional development.
To help them find their interests.
To identify the potential hidden in them
To sensitize them about the problems of society and educate them on how they can contribute to the eradication of these problems.
To enable exchanges between youth from different parts of the country as well as from different countries.
Empowerment of youth in India

The Indian government also aims at youth-led development. Instead of sitting idle, youth should play an active role in the development and progress of the country. To encourage and empower the young minds, the country's government has launched a National Youth Policy. It aims to potentially direct the youth in the right direction which will help strengthen the nation as a whole.

Many education programs have also been started to ensure that every child gets education in the country. The Government of India does not do gender discrimination. With the intention of empowering girls in the country, the government has launched Beti Bachao Beti Padhao program.

The Department of Youth Affairs is also actively involved in youth empowerment. It has done many initiatives to enhance the leadership qualities and other skills of the youth in the country. When the youth of the country fully utilize their skills and potential, the country will definitely develop and progress and it will get a new identity around the world. Will get
Older generations often do not take youth seriously due to their impulsive and angry nature. They do not understand that their nature is primarily a result of how they have been raised. Thus each generation has a duty to educate their next generation so that they can give them and the nation a chance to be proud. How to prepare responsible youth?

There are mainly two types of people in this world - first those who act responsibly and follow prescribed norms and second those who question norms and act irresponsibly. Though there is nothing wrong in questioning the criteria on the basis of logic but acting irresponsibly is not acceptable. Today's youth have many abilities and it is the duty of parents and teachers to direct their creativity and ability in the right direction. Here are some things that you can prepare responsible youth:

Start early
Do not wait for your child to be more than 10 or 10 years of age to teach them moral values or further work. Start it when they are children. Teach them how to behave in public, how to handle different tasks and other things from an early age. Of course, keep in mind their age while teaching them anything or checking any work done by them.

Encourage moral values
It is important that you teach your children about what is right and what is wrong. Give them moral education from time to time based on their age. Also, let them know the consequences of bad behavior or actions.

Allow them to help
Instead of pampering your children all the time, let them help you. Allow them to do small tasks such as arranging the dinner table or separating fruits and vegetables or placing toys in the right place. This instills a sense of responsibility in them and prepares them to take on greater responsibilities in life.

Appreciation
Appreciate the good work of your children. This will help encourage them to practice good behavior over and over again and that will eventually get into their behavior. Try not to reward them every time.

Don't be hard
As soon as you tell them what is right and what is wrong, give them moral education and assign the work, do not be too harsh towards them. You need to understand that there can be a time when they will not meet your expectations and there is nothing wrong in that.

Role of youth in society

If the mentality of the youth in the country is right and their budding talents are motivated then they will definitely work well for the society. With proper knowledge and the right attitude they can excel in various fields including technology, science, medicine, sports and others. This will not only develop them personally and professionally but will also contribute to the development and progress of the entire nation. On the other hand, if the youth of the country are not educated or unemployed, it will give rise to crime.
Culture of modern youth

One reason for the change in mindset and culture is the influence of Western culture and the other is the increasing advancement in the field of technology.

Earlier people used to visit each other's place and spend good time together. Whenever there was a need, neighbors also gathered to help each other. However, the youth of today do not even know who lives in the next house. This does not mean that they do not like meeting people. They only associate with people they feel comfortable with and are not necessarily someone's relatives or neighbors. So basically the youth have started raising doubts on the set norms of the society today.

Modern youth do not follow the rules set by their elders. They want their parents and guardians to be together but do not want to guide them at every step. Today's younger generation wants to learn new things and explore themselves in the world. Today's youth are quite impatient and also eager. These people want to do everything immediately and if things do not go their way, then they get angry soon.

However not everything about modern youth is negative. The human mind has also evolved over time and the younger generation is quite talented. Today's youth are eager and motivated. Today's group of youth is very smart and knows how to achieve their goals. They do not bind themselves to traditions and superstitions. No obstacle can stop them from getting what they want.

Today's youth and technology

With the advancement in technology, the advent of various gadgets has changed the lifestyle and overall attitude towards life and the part of the population which has been most affected by it is the youth.

These days, youth are so engrossed in their mobile phones and social media that they have forgotten that there is a life outside it too. Today's youth are very concerned about themselves and want to show and tell everything that they have through social media. Instead of enjoying every moment, he wants to show how his life has been. It seems that no one is really happy but everyone wants to tell the other that his life is extremely good and fun compared to others.

Apart from mobile phones and social media platforms which are having a huge impact on the lives of modern youth is other gadgets and other technologically advanced devices which have brought a huge change in the lifestyle of people.Likes to workout Similarly, where the people of the past used to walk for miles to reach their school and workplace, the youth of today prefers to use cars even if they have to travel a short distance. Elevators are being used instead of stairs, food is being cooked in microwaves and air fryers instead of gas stoves, and malls are being preferred over parks. If we squeeze everything, technology is taking the youth away from nature.

The youth of India, blinded by the Western glare, do not realize that our Indian culture was always very good. Though it is not good to bind oneself with superstitions but we should take good values from our culture. Similarly, technology should be used for development in one's life. We should not be slaves to technology.
The youth have the power to create or spoil a nation. Therefore, young minds should be nurtured very carefully so that responsible youth can be developed in them
